Tom Hedke Hail Repair - Midland,Texas
A Note On Insurance
Today, all major insurance carriers accept PDR. In fact, they encourage it! Before you repair hail damage through an insurance claim, there are a few things you should know.
First, hail damage is a comprehensive claim, and will NOT make your insurance rates go up. Your insurance company might give you a list of vendors for your PDR repair. Tom Hedke Hail Repair will not be on that list – here's why:
- Insurance vendors are under contract with the insurance company, and MUST charge you a deductible.
- Tom Hedke Hail Repair works on your behalf with a licensed independent adjustor or the Insurabce company to get your repair approved at the proper level
- That means you are assured of the highest quality service
- And, we confidently offer a Lifetime Warranty on the work
Q. Do I have to go where my insurance company tells me to go?
No. As the policy holder, the choice is yours. If you go to a shop recommended by your insurance company, they are under contract with the insurance company and are required to charge you a deductible. That’s why it’s important to note, Tom Gedke Hail Repair works on your behalf with a licensed independent adjustor to get your repair approved at the proper level, which means you are assured of the highest quality service. Plus, we can help with your deductible and still offer you our Lifetime Warranty.
If the Insurance company offers the wrong amount for the claim, we ask that they come to our shop and look at every dent on your car to make sure you get the right amount of money. Tom Hedke does not charge you more for this service. We want you to get your car or truck fixed right. That is why you have insurance.
Contact Tom Hedke today if you have hail damage and need hail repair.
Some insurance companies will tell you that you must take your vehicle to a particular shop for repairs. This is not true! The Texas Department of Insurance says:
"BY LAW, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO SELECT WHERE YOUR MOTOR VEHICLE IS REPAIRED AND THE PARTS USED FOR REPAIRS. HOWEVER, AN INSURANCE COMPANY IS NOT REQUIRED TO PAY MORE THAN A REASONABLE AMOUNT FOR SUCH REPAIRS AND PARTS. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS REGARDING MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIRS ARE EXPLAINED IN THE INSURANCE CODE, ARTICLE 5.07-1. IF THE DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE IS COVERED BY AN INSURANCE POLICY, THE NATURE OF THE COVERAGE AND YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS UNDER THE CONTRACT ARE DESCRIBED IN MORE DETAIL IN THE APPLICABLE POLICY. FOR DETAILED INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR INSURANCE POLICY, CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY"
